Celbridge Historical Society Talk - The Mansfields of County Kildare – a Franco-Irish Catholic elite family and their networks 1870 - 1915, with Fergus Murphy

Following a long career in technology, during which he completed studies in genealogy and family history in his spare time, Fergus has recently transitioned to a 2nd career as a professional genealogist. He completed his MA in History of Family in 2019, which was the genesis of the book he published in 2023, about which he will be talking to us today. Fergus has family origins in Co. Kildare and a strong affinity with France, which made him the ideal candidate to research a Franco-Irish family from Co. Kildare.
