Cruinniú Leabhair: Stories of Sustainable Interconnection/ An ecofeminist book club
This eco-feminist book club meets every three months in a different Kildare library, hosted by practitioners from Dúlra Forest School. They will be bringing their experience of working in Irish nature to the circle, fostering (cothú) ideas for sustainable pathways where individuals, communities, and nature thrive. Join us to sit in counsel and comhrá, sparking meaningful conversations for a greener, more harmonious future. Copies of the book will be available on loan from your library 3 weeks before the event - please bring your copy along to the club.
All welcome!
Our first meeting in Naas Library will be to discuss the book Braiding Sweetgrass: Indigenous Wisdom, Scientific Knowledge, and the Teachings of Plants by Robin Wall Kimmerer. The book will be available 3 weeks before the meeting and ticketholders will be notified.
