Cuidiú Breastfeeding support
Cuidiú Breastfeeding support is coming back to Athy. Following Covid, a much needed support group has been missing from the Athy area, and Aoife Kelly with the Laois-Athy Cuidiu Branch is bringing it back. Starting 10 April, Cuidiu Breastfeeding support groups will take place every second Thursday of the month in the Athy Library from 10:00 - 11:30.
Cuidiú is a charity whose ethos centres on supporting parents with evidence based information about pregnancy, childbirth and breastfeeding to provide a supportive background to empower parents to make their own decisions that are right for their family. Cuidiú is Irish for 'help'.
