Extension of Temporary Road Closure
Notice is hereby given of the decision of Kildare County Council to extend the duration of the closure as detailed below of the following road in accordance with Section 75 of the Roads Act, 1993 and the Roads Regulations, 1994:

Road Closure extended to Monday, 27 January 2025.
The closure is required to facilitate permanent reinstatement.
Alternative Routes:
Eastbound stay on the R447 for a further 400m until you come to the roundabout junction of the R447, the R448 and the L2039 (Kilcullen Road Roundabout) then take the R448 (Kilcullen Road) southbound for 1.4km. A right-hand turn will then bring you onto Rathasker Road.
Northbound stay on Kilcullen Road for a further 1.4km, at Kilcullen Road Roundabout you take a left onto the R447. From the roundabout take a left, after 400m take another left which will bring you onto Rathasker Road.
