Local Enhancement Programme 2024

The Local Enhancement Programme 2024 funded by the Department of Rural and Community Development is now open for applications.

Kildare County Council through Kildare Local Community Development Committee has €198,071 to be awarded to community groups and organisations in Kildare allocated as follows:

  • €163,322 capital funding to use towards carrying out necessary repairs and improvements to facilities, energy efficiency type projects, purchase of equipment, etc. The minimum application amount is €1,000 and the maximum application amount is €10,000.
  • €34,749 capital funding for Women’s Groups. There is a separate application form for Women’s Groups.  They can apply for funding under both application processes.

 

The closing date for receipt of completed applications is 5.00 pm on Thursday 29 February 2024.  It is important that you read the funding guidelines carefully before completing the application form.

Late or incomplete applications will not be accepted.
