🌟 About Us
The Kildare Local Community Development Committee (LCDC) was established in May 2014 under the Local Government Act. It brings together 19 members from both government bodies and community organisations.
Kildare County Council is responsible for setting up and supporting the LCDC. We work together to strengthen communities across County Kildare.

- State agencies
- Community, economic, cultural, and environmental groups
Together, we collaborate to identify priorities and take action that benefits the people of Kildare.

We focus on community development by:
- Leading the community section of the Local Economic and Community Plan (LECP)
- Coordinating and delivering community-focused initiatives
- Overseeing national programmes that support local development
Our goal is to create a more inclusive, vibrant, and sustainable County Kildare.
