Book Launch Basil McBride's 'Word of the Week'
Basil McBride is the alter-ego of Maynooth local, Lee Sheridan. Sheridan was shortlisted for the Red Line Book Festival 2023 Poetry Competition. Basil McBride's 'Word of the Week' is a collection of humorous articles that grew from a literacy initiative in the school that Basil works in. The aim of the initiative is to teach students a new word each week.
