Autumn Seed Saving Session with Lucy Bell Tuesday 24th September
Dive into the autumn journey with seeds! In this session we’ll explore some more seed stories, looking to the biennial seed crops. We will look at this year’s harvest and how to save it, and some of the growing problems that arose in this changeable year of 2024.
Lucy Bell, the founder of Growing Wild, is an organic horticulturist, environmental educator, and trained Forest School Leader. Lucy facilitates ways for people both young and old, to connect to nature through time out in nature, be it learning how to grow food, immersing in a woodland setting, hunting for creatures in water or land,planting trees and plants for pollinators, foraging for wild plants or creating living willow structures.
