Climate Action Event: Cycling Exhibition with Paul MacDonald
As part of Bike Week 2023 on the week 13-21 May, Kildare County Council Sustainable Transport Section are supporting an exhibition on the history of cycling from the original ‘running bike’ to modern bicycles. Cycling and its social role for women in the 19th century - Specialist military-use bicycles in the Allied Armies in WWII - Cycling in the Cold War between East and West, & the ‘Peace Races’ -Modern cycling competition including professional and Olympic cycling
