Exhibition Launch 'The Braveheart Movie Landscape' by Michael Rowley
2024 marks 30 years since Mel Gibson directed his movie Braveheart on the Curragh and in other places around Kildare, Wicklow and Meath. In 1994, Michael Rowley had a brief job mucking out the stunt horses working on this movie. This gave him access to the film set and he watched transfixed as the different scenes were shot each day on the Curragh.
Now 30 years later, working as an artist, Michael has made a series of paintings using the Curragh landscapes which featured in Braveheart.
No Booking Required – Everyone Welcome!
Exhibition will be on display from 14th September
