Irish Crochet Lace class – Heritage Week
Irish Crochet Lace is officially considered an Irish cultural heritage resource, having been included in the National Inventory of Intangible Cultural Heritage.
In this special workshop, you can learn the techniques of Irish crochet lace, which evolved here during the 19th century using very fine crochet hooks and cotton threads.
Participants need to be experienced at crochet. Materials will be provided.
