Devotional Criticism: A Feminist Method Based on Orthodox Iconography
Dr Azelina Flint will discuss her current research project, “Contemporary Women Icons", which connects local communities with female iconographers to support them in creating sacred images of forgotten women in history. Azelina will discuss the recent icon-making event that she ran at Solas Bhríde for the Brigid 1500 celebrations and her roundtable with female iconographers at Maynooth University.
