Pat Mullan Book Launch
The Tales from Derry Kildare and Beyond collection by Pat Mullan, featuring over 60 short stories and more than a dozen poems, is a warm and often witty collection of stories, poems and memories from the late 1950s to the present day. It covers a range of themes including, growing up in sixties and seventies Ireland, parent / offspring relationships, the challenges of living through the Troubles, life in the workplace, advances in technology, farming life, illness, Covid, ageing and dying, and all the vagaries that life presents.
Originally from rural Co Derry, Pat spent most of his life in Eadestown, Naas for over 40 years. His stories have been published in various on-line and print publications including the Galway Review, Honest Ulsterman, Shorterstories.ie and Idle Ink.
