The North Kildare Lacemakers Collective with special screening of the Hands Documentary
This group meets in the library once a month. All lacemakers and enthusiasts are welcome!
For this meeting, attendees will get to watch the beautiful HANDS series which was produced for RTÉ in the 1970s/1980s. It was a 37-episode production dedicated to Irish crafts and craftspeople. Kildare libraries are delighted to showcase this series to a new or returning audience.We thank Sally Shaw-Smith for allowing us to show the beautiful films, acknowledging the wonderful legacy left by her husband who sadly passed in 2021.
