Recycling
Recycling is a very important part of waste management. To find out (and check on a map) where to recycle in Kildare and the rest of the country, go to www.mywaste.ie
This site includes the locations of recycling banks for glass, cans and textiles across the county.
Recycling Centres
There are two recycling centres in Kildare. A third facility is currently being planned for north Kildare, at a site near Celbridge. These facilities accept a wide range of items for recycling, and also accept domestic and commercial waste for landfill. The sites are currently run by BnM on behalf of the council. The links tell you what can be accepted at each site and the current charges.
