Our monthly breastfeeding group is held on the second Monday of the month with qualified breastfeeding counsellors who are happy to provide support and information. Maynooth Community Library is starting a new fantasy/science-fiction book club which will meet on the 2nd Tuesday of every month. We'll be reading Yan Ge's novel ‘Strange Beasts of China’ which will be available to collect from behind the desk through the month of December. Originally published in Chinese in 2006 and translated into English in 2020, the plot centres an amateur cryptozoologist who is commissioned to uncover the stories of the city's fabled beasts.

In addition to the exhibition, Maeve Clancy has created a graphic novel charting the remarkable life and achievements of Kathleen Lonsdale.
