Art Exhibition: Larry Steen "Where the Eye Leads Me"
Painting from a young age, Larry is mainly self-taught, but encouraged in the early days by Padraig Lynch in Ardee. He also attended drawing in NCAD under Ken Donfield, and Life Drawing under Bernie Markey. He paints in oils and pastel featuring mainly landscapes, seas and skies.
He is the treasurer of the Meath Art Group, and a member of the Pastel Society of Ireland.
He has exhibited in the Titanic Centre, the GHQ Dublin, the Solstice Navan and the Island Art Centre Lisburn with the groups above. He has also had solo exhibitions in the Sean Hollywood Art Centre, Newry and in Ardee, Cabra, Leixlip and Lucan Libraries.
