Book Launch of 'Hired Guns: Portrait of Women in Alternative Music' by Wayne Byrne & Amanda Kramer.
Naas Library and Cultural Centre is proud to launch the acclaimed new book by Naas author Wayne Byrne and American musician Amanda Kramer, “Hired Guns: Portraits of Women in Alternative Music”.
This will be Byrne’s sixth published work, following a series of popular books on Film history, including the Amazon number one hit, “Welcome to Elm Street”, while the book is Kramer’s literary debut. Amanda Kramer is the keyboardist for 80s new wave legends The Psychedelic Furs and has toured, recorded, and performed with acts such as Siouxsie Sioux, World Party, Eurythmics, Lloyd Cole, The Golden Palominos, and the Thompson Twins.
Join us on Friday 26th April at 7.30pm as we celebrate the launch of the book with Wayne, who will be present for a public Q&A with journalist Paul Farren as they discuss the making of Hired Guns, his collaborations with Amanda Kramer, and his literary career.
