Breast -feeding support group with Public Health Nurse
The group will be facilitated by the Public Health Nurse (PHN). All mothers who are breastfeeding are welcome to attend. We would encourage mums who are pregnant and who have not yet had their baby to attend – allows them to ask any breastfeeding questions so that postnatally they may feel more confident with getting their breastfeeding journey off to a good start. Mothers who may be having any breastfeeding problems will have the opportunity to speak to the PHN on a one to one basis or to the group in general. We hope the group will allow mothers to meet with other mothers, have a chat and thereby build a social network for these mothers. No booking needed, just drop in.
