Wildlife Citizen Science

This session aims to support community groups and interested individuals to learn more about animal- and plant-recording opportunities in their area. It will be delivered by the expert and enthusiastic staff of the Irish Peatland Conservation Council. It is also tailored to support those local community groups that have already developed Community Biodiversity Action Plan in Kildare County, to implement some of their actions. The session will include information, knowledge and skill sharing around taking part in national initiatives, and establishing monitoring schemes for a range of wildlife including bees, butterflies, mammals, and birds, amongst others.
