County Kildare Heritage Plan 2025 - 2031
Kildare County Council is preparing a new Heritage Plan (2025-2031) for the county to help us to improve our understanding of heritage in Kildare and to promote best practice in conserving and managing this valuable asset.
As the first step in developing this Plan, we are looking for the people of Kildare to tell us what heritage means to them and how we can work together to protect it. Submissions are being sought from the public to help guide this process. The discussion paper above has been produced as a starting point in this process- it helps to refine what we mean by “heritage” and sets the scene for further discussion.
After reading the discussion paper, you may wish to make a submission here County Kildare Heritage Plan (2025 - 2031) Pre-Draft Consultation | Kildare County Council
