Kildare County Council Seeks Expressions of Interest for Culture Night 2026
10 June 2026: Kildare County Council Arts Service is currently seeking Expressions of Interest from Kildare-based artists, performers, organisations or community groups for this year’s Culture Night, taking place on Friday, 18 September 2026.
Proposals should reflect the cultural richness of Kildare and the diversity of all communities living across the county. Submissions celebrating equality, diversity, inclusion and initiatives that specifically engage younger audiences between 18 to 35 are welcome, as are applications from new participants. Financial support of up to €300 is available towards costs for eligible events.
Culture Night is an annual national public event, that shines a light on all aspects of culture, creativity and the arts. It seeks to actively promote the belief that Ireland’s rich and diverse culture is alive, treasured and nurtured in people’s everyday lives. It respects, supports and ensures the inclusion of all voices, cultures and communities that make up Ireland today. The programme is delivered nationwide in cities, towns, villages and rural locations, as well as online and through Culture Night’s media partners.

The deadline for submissions is Thursday, 2nd July 2026 at 12pm. Applicants will be notified of decisions in mid July.
