Kildare County Council Signs Works Contract for Craddockstown Housing Project
Kildare County Council has signed a contract appointing Cunningham Contracts Ireland Ltd. for the Design and Construction of the Craddockstown Housing project located on Craddockstown Road, Naas, Co Kildare.
The Part VIII design was completed by the Kildare County Council Architects Department, in partnership with other design team members including Hayes Higgins Partnership (Civil and Structural Engineer and PSDP), Delap & Waller (Building Services), RMDA (Landscape) and TA group (Assigned Certifier).
The project involves the construction of 28 new social housing units and is funded by the Department of Housing, Local Government & Heritage through the Social Housing Investment Programme. Construction is scheduled for completion in 2027.
Speaking at the contract signing, the Cathaoirleach of the County of Kildare, Councillor Tim Durkan said: "The delivery of these new homes is an important step forward in meeting the housing needs of our community. These 28 homes will provide much-needed accommodation for local families and individuals, while helping to meet the needs of our growing population.”
