Kildare Local Community Safety Partnership Holds Second Meeting
The Kildare Local Community Safety Partnership (LCSP) held its second meeting last week, chaired by the newly appointed Chair, Councillor Angela Feeney.
Members of the Kildare LCSP received a presentation from representatives of the Waterford Pilot Project who shared their experience of establishing one of the country’s first Local Community Safety Partnerships. Their presentation provided valuable guidance as Kildare continues to develop its own model and long-term approach to community safety.
Speaking after the meeting, Councillor Angela Feeney, Chair of the Kildare LCSP said: “Learning from the experience of the pilot projects, particularly those of a similar demographic, is invaluable as we shape the Kildare Local Community Safety Partnership. Their insights help us understand what works in practice and ensure that our partnership is built on strong foundations, informed by community experience.”

The next meeting of the Kildare LCSP will take place on Thursday, 7 May and will include a workshop focused on the initial phase of the Kildare LCSP Strategic Plan.
