Temporary Closure of Kilcock Library

Kilcock Library will be temporarily closed from Monday, 31 August 2026 to facilitate refurbishment works.

The refurbishment will update and enhance Kilcock Library, creating a brighter, more welcoming, comfortable and flexible space for all members of the public. The works are part of a wider project to improve the library environment for all, and it is anticipated that Kilcock Library will reopen in early October 2026.

During the closure, Kilcock customers are reminded that they can use any Kildare Library & Arts Service branch, with Maynooth Library being the nearest alternative. Members can continue to borrow, return and collect reserved items at any branch, and request materials for collection at the library most convenient to them.

Please note that all events, classes and activities scheduled to take place in Kilcock Library will be suspended during the refurbishment period.
