Kildare County Council, gives notice in accordance with Section 75 of the Roads Act, 1993 and the Roads Regulations, 1994 that it will close the following road on Thursday, 5 June to Sunday, 12 October 2025 to facilitate road maintenance.

Alternative Routes: Traffic intending to travel East onto the L1001 will be diverted onto the R407 heading North. Continue heading on North on the Clane Road and take the second exit at roundabout. Continue to the next roundabout on the R407 and take the second exit. Continue Northwest on the R407 and take a left turn onto Millicent Road L2004 heading South. At junction L10231 and L2004 turn right onto the L2004 and continue Southwest where diversion end. Traffic intending to travel East on the L1001 will be diverted North onto the L2004 Millicent Road. At junction L10231 and L2004 turn left and continue heading Northeast. At Junction R407 takes next right turn heading Southeast and continue to roundabout and take the second exit. Continue on the R407 and at roundabout take the second exit. Continue heading South on the R407 Clane Road where diversion ends. |

Diversionary routes will be clearly signposted, as agreed with the Council and An Garda Síochána. Emergency access and restricted local access will be maintained.
