Variation No. 6 - Sallins Settlement Plan
Adopted Variation
At a Special Meeting of Kildare County Council on 12th October 2026 the Elected Members of Kildare County Council adopted Variation 6 of the Kildare County Development Plan 2023-2029 (as varied): Sallins Settlement Plan. Variation 6 of the Kildare County Development 2023-2029 (as varied) takes immediate effect.
Proposed Material Alterations
The Proposed Material Alterations and associated documents were on display from Tuesday 4th August 2026 to Tuesday 1st September 2026.
Written submissions or observations with respect to the Proposed Material Alterations to Proposed Variation No. 6 of the Kildare County Development Plan 2023- 2029 (as varied) and associated documents were made until 1st September 2026.

Draft Stage
Kildare County Council proposed a variation to the Kildare County development Plan 2023 - 2029 (as varied). The Proposed Variation will be incorporated into Volume 2 of the Kildare County Development 2023-2029 (as varied).
The Proposed Variation will provide a Settlement Plan for Sallins to replace the Sallins Local Area Plan 2016-2022.
