The Grand Canal Greenway Phase 2 Proposed Additional Bridges Part 8 was launched on 14 August 2024. The submission period ran until Wednesday 25 September 2024. Due to the requirement of additional information to support the Part 8, the Part 8 will not proceed at this time. Submissions or observations already made, with respect to the proposed development, will be null and void and new submissions must be made when the Part 8 is re-launched. Kildare County Council will re-launch and re-advertise the Part 8 in the coming months, at a date yet to be confirmed. Normal Part 8 advertising procedures will be followed at this time. Updates on the new Part 8 will be available on the Kildare County Council website and Consultation portal.
