The Minister for Rural and Community Development and the Gaeltacht, Dara Calleary TD, launched the 2026 CLÁR Scheme on 10 March, 2026.
This fund is a targeted investment programme for rural areas that aims to provide funding for small infrastructural projects in designated rural areas. Under the 2026 scheme, Ballitore has been designated as eligible for CLÁR funding.

Kildare County Council are now seeking Expressions of Interest under Measure 1 of the Scheme. The Expression of Interest form can be downloaded through the link below.
Completed Expression of Interest forms should be submitted to capdeliverysppr@kildarecoco.ie by close of business on 30 April, 2026.
