Bike Week 2026

Kildare County Council and Kildare Sports Partnership, supported by the National Transport Authority would like to offer community groups the opportunity to organise their very own Bike Week 2026 event, which will run from May 9th to May 17th. We believe this is a great opportunity to get as many people out on two wheels as possible.

Clubs, Groups & Organisations are invited to apply for funding to support them in the planning and execution of their proposed Bike Week 2026 event. This event must be open and inclusive, including both club and group members and the wider community.

Sample Bike Week cycle events could include:
  • Fun Cycles on Blueways and Greenways
  • Bike Maintenance Workshop
