Kildare County Council announced funding opportunities under the Local Enhancement Programme 2024
16 February 2024: The Local Enhancement Programme 2024 is open for applications until Thursday 29th of February 2024. This funding will provide capital support essential for the many small community groups and organisations, particularly those who serve disadvantaged areas in rural and urban areas.
Kildare County Council through Kildare Local Community Development Committee has €198,071 to be awarded to community groups and organisations in Kildare allocated as follows:
- €163,322 capital funding to use towards carrying out necessary repairs and improvements to facilities, energy efficiency type projects, purchase of equipment, etc. The minimum application amount is €1,000 and the maximum application amount is €10,000.
- €34,749 capital funding for Women’s Groups
Eligible groups can apply for funding under both application processes. The closing date for receipt of completed applications is 5.00 pm on Thursday 29 February 2024.
