Taking in Charge of Roads and Services – Kildare County Council
Pursuant to Section 180 of the Planning and Development Act, 2000 (as amended) and in accordance with Section 11 of the Roads Act, 1993 (as amended):
Notice is hereby given that Kildare County Council as the Roads Authority for County Kildare proposes to take in charge the roads, paths, public lights, open spaces and surface water systems and to declare the roads to be public roads in the housing estate listed hereunder, following the required statutory display and submissions procedures:

These documents can also be inspected at the public counter in the Transport, Mobility and Open Spaces Department (Level 4), Kildare County Council, Áras Chill Dara, Devoy Park, Naas, Co. Kildare from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday to Friday (except for public holidays) from Tuesday, 6 February 2024 to Wednesday, 6 March 2024 inclusive. Objections or representations in relation to the proposed taking in charge may be submitted via the Council’s Consultation Portal or in writing to the Administrative Officer, Development Control Section, Kildare County Council, Level 4, Áras Chill Dara, Devoy Park, Naas, Co. Kildare. Written submissions should be marked Taking in Charge of “x” where “x” would be the ref. no. and name of the particular estate.
The latest date for receipt of submissions is 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, 20 March 2024.
