Kildare County Council to host HSE MMR Vaccination Clinic
Kildare County Council today announced details of a MMR vaccination clinic which will be hosted in the Council’s head office on Tuesday 2nd April.
The free clinic is open to the public as well as staff in Kildare County Council and will run from 10am – 3pm in Aras Chill Dara Naas (W91X77F – Level 0, Rooms 8 & 9) on Tuesday 2nd April.
The pop-up clinic will be hosted in partnership with the HSE, following recent advice from the National Immunisation Advisory Committee (NIAC). In response to a rise in measles cases in Europe and the UK, the HSE is providing a series of MMR catch up clinics, like this one in Kildare, to protect people who may not have been vaccinated before. If you missed the MMR vaccine as a child, you can get the vaccine at this clinic. Alternatively, if you are not sure if you’ve had the MMR vaccine as a child, you can still get the vaccine now, to make sure you are protected.
The HSE vaccination team are available to answer any questions. Visit www.hse.ie/measles for further information.
