Kildare County Council’s Local Enterprise Office invites Expressions of Interest for National Ploughing Championships
Kildare County Council’s Local Enterprise Office is inviting expressions of interest from clients to join the Local Enterprise Village at the 2023 National Ploughing Championships. As part of the national Local Enterprise Office programme, Kildare County Council’s Local Enterprise Office will host a stand for clients at the 2023 National Ploughing Championships which will take place from 19th – 21st September in Ratheniska, Co Laois.
Over 250,000 consumers will visit a 50-acre exhibition and trade arena. This is a wonderful opportunity to showcase the quality and high standards of goods and services supported by the Local Enterprise Office at this unique consumer event.
Kildare County Council’s Local Enterprise Office is now inviting any clients interested in availing of the stand to complete the ‘expression of interest’ form. Closing date for submissions of interest is Tuesday 9th May 2023 at 5.00pm

Priority will be given to enterprises manufacturing their own product or offering an innovative service relevant to the audience expected at the show. Once expression of interest forms have been received they will be considered and successful applicants will be advised by email by 19th May 2023.
A mandatory briefing for chosen exhibitors will take place on Monday 19th June in Naas, providing information and guidance to plan and prepare for the event.
As part of the ‘Local Enterprise Village’ each company will receive:
- A Stand which is 3 x 2 Meters
- Space as per allocation
- Name Plate
- Double Socket
- Spotlights x 2
- 2 X Exhibitor Passes
- 1 X Exhibitor Car Park Pass (Parking is free at the NPA)
- 1 X Build & Break Pass
- Attendance at briefing session (Compulsory)
- Access to PR Opportunities via LEO Communications Office
- General Exhibition Services WIFI, Toilets, etc.
The cost of the stand is highly subsidised at a rate of €850 per client exhibitor for 2023 where they will have the opportunity to showcase products and establish and build contacts.
Food companies exhibiting at the event are permitted to serve samples or sell products for home use. Sale of products for consumption on site is prohibited under the terms of the display permit for the Local Enterprise Village.
Successful applicants will be required to provide your own public liability and stock insurance.
