Kildare County Council gives notice in accordance with Section 75 of the Roads Act, 1993 and the Roads Regulations, 1994 that it will close the following road on Sunday, 14 May 2023 to facilitate a street festival.

Alternative Routes: Traffic travelling east along the R445 (Newbridge Road) towards Naas Town Centre will be diverted right at the junction of the R445 and the L3013. Traffic will travel south along the L3013, continuing along the L3013 through the Kildare County Council/Osprey Roundabout, continuing along the L3013 through the Kilcullen Road Roundabout, continuing along the L3013 through the Ballymore Road Roundabout, continuing northeast along the L3013 at the junction with the L6043, before turning left onto the R410 at the junction of the L3013 and the R410, travelling northwest along the R410 towards the junction of the R410 and the R445 where the diversion ends. Traffic travelling southwest along the R445 (Dublin Road) towards Naas Town Centre will be diverted left at the junction of the R410 and the R445, before travelling southeast along the R410, turning right at the junction of the L3013 and the R410 onto the L3013, continuing southwest along the L3013 at the junction with the L6043, continuing along the L3013 through the Ballymore Road Roundabout, continuing along the L3013 through the Kilcullen Road Roundabout, continuing along the L3013 through the Kildare County Council/Osprey Roundabout, continuing north along the L3013 towards the junction of the L3013 and the R445 where the diversion ends. Traffic travelling north along the R448 (Kilcullen Road) will be diverted right at the Kilcullen Road Roundabout onto the L3013, continuing along the L3013 through the Ballymore Road Roundabout, continuing northeast along the L3013 at the junction with the L6043, before turning left onto the R410 at the junction of the L3013 and the R410, travelling northwest along the R410 towards the junction of the R410 and the R445 where the diversion ends. Traffic travelling north along the R411 (Ballymore Road) will be diverted right at the Ballymore Road Roundabout onto the L3013, continuing northeast along the L3013 at the junction with the L6043, before turning left onto the R410 at the junction of the L3013 and the R410, travelling northwest along the R410 towards the junction of the R410 and the R445 where the diversion ends. Traffic travelling south along the R409 (New Caragh Road) will be diverted left at the junction of the R409 and the R445. Traffic will continue west along the R445 before turning left onto the L3013 at the junction of the R445 and the L3013. Traffic will travel south along the L3013, continuing along the L3013 through the Kildare County Council/Osprey Roundabout, continuing along the L3013 through the Kilcullen Road Roundabout, continuing along the L3013 through the Ballymore Road Roundabout, continuing northeast along the L3013 at the junction with the L6043, before turning left onto the R410 at the junction of the L3013 and the R410, travelling northwest along the R410 towards the junction of the R410 and the R445 where the diversion ends. Traffic travelling north along the L6067 (Rathasker Road) will be diverted right onto the L3013 and travel east along the L3013, continuing along the L3013 through the Kilcullen Road Roundabout, continuing along the L3013 through the Ballymore Road Roundabout, continuing northeast along the L3013 at the junction with the L6043, before turning left onto the R410 at the junction of the L3013 and the R410, travelling northwest along the R410 towards the junction of the R410 and the R445 where the diversion ends. Traffic travelling north along the L6043 (Craddockstown Road) will be diverted right onto the L3013, continuing northeast along the L3013 at the junction with the L6043, before turning left onto the R410 at the junction of the L3013 and the R410, travelling northwest along the R410 towards the junction of the R410 and the R445 where the diversion ends. Traffic travelling southwest along the R407 (Sallins Road) towards Naas Town Centre will be diverted left onto the L10100 (Wolfe Tone Street), continuing along the L10100 before turning left onto the R445 (Dublin Road), continuing northwest along the R445 before turning right onto the R410, continuing southeast along the R410, turning right at the junction of the L3013 and the R410 onto the L3013, continuing southwest along the L3013 at the junction with the L6043, continuing along the L3013 through the Ballymore Road Roundabout, continuing along the L3013 through the Kilcullen Road Roundabout, continuing along the L3013 through the Kildare County Council/Osprey Roundabout, continuing north along the L3013 towards the junction of the L3013 and the R445 where the diversion ends. |

Diversionary routes will be clearly signposted, as agreed with the Council and An Garda Síochána. Emergency access and restricted local access will be maintained.
