Kildare County Council, on behalf of Killeen Civil Engineering, gives notice in accordance with Section 75 of the Roads Act, 1993 and the Roads Regulations, 1994 that it intends to close the following road from Tuesday, 28 March 2023 to facilitate installation sewer pipe and cable duct.

Alternative Routes: Vehicles wanting to travel eastbound on Town Hall Lane will be diverted to turn east on Basin Street (L2997) and then directed to turn right onto Abbey Street (L2996). Vehicles will be directed to turn right again onto Moat Lane back onto the (R445) reaching the end of the diversion. Vehicles wanting to travel westbound on Moat Lane will be diverted south along Abbey Street (L2996) and then directed to turn left onto Basin Street (L2997). Vehicles will be directed to (R445) reaching the end of the diversion. |

Diversionary routes will be clearly signposted, as agreed with the Council and An Garda Síochána. Emergency access and restricted local access will be maintained.
Any objections, submissions or representations may be made in writing to the A/Senior Executive Officer, Roads, Transportation and Public Safety, Level 4, Áras Chill Dara, Devoy Park, Naas, Co. Kildare or directly on the consultation portal https://consult.kildarecoco.ie/en on or before 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, 14 March 2023.
