Kildare County Council gives notice in accordance with Section 75 of the Roads Act, 1993 and the Roads Regulations, 1994 that it intends to close the following roads during the period between Saturday, 22 April 2023 to Sunday, 23 April 2023 to facilitate the maintenance of the road network as per Section 13 of the Roads Act, 1993.

Alternative Routes: Northbound traffic shall be redirected to the R445 at McLoughlin’s Cross towards Newbridge and redirected to the L70369 Moorefield Road. Traffic then will be directed to the L7037 Standhouse Road and finish at the junction of the L7036 Langton Road. Southbound traffic shall be redirected to the L7037 Standhouse Road. Traffic will be directed along the L70369 Moorefield Road and redirected onto the R445 and finish at the junction of the L7036, McLoughlin’s Cross. |

Diversionary routes will be clearly signposted, as agreed with the Council and An Garda Síochána. Emergency access and restricted local access will be maintained.
Any objections/observations should be lodged in writing to the A/Senior Executive Officer, Roads, Transportation and Public Safety, Áras Chill Dara, Devoy Park, Naas, Co. Kildare, or directly on the consultation portal at https://consult.kildarecoco.ie/en on or before 5:00 p.m. on Monday, 3 April 2023.
