Traffic travelling south towards Allen should stay on the R415 Kilmeague towards Allenwood, taking a left onto the R403 towards Shee Bridge, turning left onto the R414 towards Lullymore following the R414 towards Rathangan, turning left onto the R401 and continuing to the junction with the L3002, turning left and continuing to its junction at Feighcullen, turning right and continuing to its junction at Punchersgrange, turning left and  continuing to the junction R415 Pluckerstown.

Traffic travelling north towards Kilmeague should turn left onto the L3002 at Allen Cross towards Rathangan, turning right at the L3002 Pluckerstown continuing and turning left on the L3002 Feighcullen, continuing to its junction at Kilmooney South continuing onto the R401 into Rathangan, turning right onto the R414 keeping left towards Barnaran/Lullymore, continuing on the R414 to Allenwood, turning right onto the R415 Derrymullen towards Kilmeague Village. 

Alternative Routes:  

Traffic travelling east towards Prosperous should turn left onto the L7073 Brockagh towards Blackwood, turning right onto the L1019 towards the R403 Dagwelds.

Traffic travelling west towards Allenwood should turn right onto the L1019 Blackwood towards its junction with the L7073, turning left in Blackwood towards its junction with the R403 Graigues.

Alternative Routes:  

Traffic travelling south towards Edenderry should head east on the R148 towards Clonard, continue on the R148 towards Moyvalley and onto Enfield. At the roundabout at Enfield join the R402 towards Johnstown Bridge. Continue on the R402 through Kilshanroe and Carbury into Edenderry.

Traffic travelling north towards Kinnegad should head east on the R402 through Carbury towards Johnstown Bridge. At Johnstown Bridge use the roundabouts to head north to join the R148. Head west on the R148 through Moyvalley and Clonard and into Kinnegad.

Alternative Routes:  

Traffic travelling south towards Edenderry should head east on the R148 towards Clonard, continue on the R148 towards Moyvalley and onto Enfield. At the roundabout at Enfield join the R402 towards Johnstown Bridge. Continue on the R402 through Kilshanroe and Carbury into Edenderry.

Traffic travelling north towards Kinnegad should head east on the R402 through Carbury towards Johnstown Bridge. At Johnstown Bridge use the roundabouts to head north to join the R148. Head west on the R148 through Moyvalley and Clonard and into Kinnegad.

Alternative Routes:  

Traffic travelling south towards Johnstown Bridge should stay on the L5005 Kilmore to its junction with the L5014 Thomastown, turning left and continuing to its junction with the R402 Kilshanroe, turning left towards Johnstown Bridge.

Traffic travelling north towards Kilmore should stay on the R402 in Johnstown Bridge towards Kilshanroe, turning right onto the L5014 Thomastown to its junction with the L5005 Kilmore, turning right.

Alternative Routes:  

Traffic travelling west towards Timahoe should turn left at Ballagh Cross onto the L1018 Dunmurraghhill to its junction with the L5071, turning right through Staplestown to its junction with the L1019 Timahoe West, turning right towards the L1017 Timahoe East.  

Traffic travelling east towards Ballagh Cross should divert onto the L5071 Hodgestown through Staplestown to its junction with the L1018 Dunmurraghhill, turning left towards Ballagh Cross.

Alternative Routes:  

Traffic travelling south towards Timahoe should continue on the R402 towards Kilshanroe to its junction with the L5012 Kilmurry, turning right and continuing to its junction with the L1004 Gorteen, turning right and continuing on the L5013 Timahoe East, turning right to join the L1017 Timahoe East.

Traffic travelling north towards Carbury should continue on the L1017, turning left onto the L5013 Timahoe East, continuing on the L5013 to its junction with the L1004 Gorteen, turning left and continuing to its junction with the L5012, turning left and continuing to its junction with the R402 Kilshanroe, continuing on the R402 to its junction with the L5025 at Collinstown.

Alternative Routes: 

Traffic travelling south towards Carbury should head east on the R148 through Moyvalley towards Enfield. Using the R148 join the R402 through Johnstown Bridge, continue on the R402 to the junction of the L1005 at the Carbury Roundabout. 

Traffic travelling north towards Broadford should head east on the R402 through Johnstown Bridge. Using the R402 join the R148 at Enfield and head west towards Moyvalley to the junction with the L1002 at Broadford.

Alternative Routes: 

Traffic travelling west will stay on the R148 to access the Main Street, turning right onto the L1013 Old Dunboyne Road. 

Traffic travelling east from Main Street Maynooth will stay on the R148 to its junction with the R157 at Black Lion to the roundabout, turning left onto the L1013 Old Dunboyne Road.

Alternative Routes: 

Traffic travelling south towards Kilmeague should divert on the R409 towards Goatstown, turning right onto the L7078 Newtowndonore, continuing to its junction with the L7081 Mylerstown.

Traffic travelling north towards Prosperous should turn right onto the L7078 Mylerstown towards Newtowndonore, turning left onto the R409 towards Downing Cross.

Alternative Routes: 

Traffic travelling east towards Robertsown should divert south towards Kilmeague on the R415, turning left onto the L7076 Robertstown Hill towards Robertstown.

Traffic travelling west should continue on the L7076 Robertstown Hill towards Kilmeague, turning right onto the R415 towards Allenwood.

Alternative Routes: 

Traffic travelling east towards Prosperous should continue on the R403, turning left onto the L70734 Allenwood North.

Traffic travelling west towards Allenwood should continue on the R403, turning right onto the L70734 Allenwood North.
