Kildare County Council gives notice on behalf of Egis Lagan Services, in accordance with Section 75 of the Roads Act, 1993 and the Roads Regulations, 1994 that it intends to close the following roads to facilitate road upgrade works between Sunday, 22 October 2023 and Friday, 27 October 2023 and again between Monday, 06 November 2023 and Friday, 10 November 2023.
The M7 motorway will be closed on the dates and times detailed below.

M7 westbound from Junction 12 (Newbridge) to Junction 13 (Kildare Town). |
Divert from Junction 12 using the off slip westbound. At the roundabout take the fourth exit onto the R413. At the next roundabout, take the first exit and continue onto the R413 before taking an immediate left onto the R445. Continue on the R445 through Kildare Town before taking a left turn onto the R415 at the T-junction sign posted for the M7. Proceed to the third roundabout, before taking the second exit to re-join the M7 westbound. |
Sunday, 22 October 2023 to Monday, 23 October 2023 and Monday, 06 November 2023 to Wednesday, 08 November 2023.

M7 eastbound from Junction 13 (Kildare Town) to Junction 12 (Newbridge). |
Divert from Junction 13 using the off slip eastbound. At the roundabout take the first exit onto the R415. At the T-junction, turn right onto the R445. Continue through Kildare Town and on to the next T-junction, then turn right onto the R413. Take the second exit from the roundabout to rejoin the M7 eastbound. |
Monday, 23 October 2023 to Tuesday, 24 October 2023 and Wednesday, 08 November 2023 to Friday, 10 November 2023. |

M7 westbound from Junction 13 (Kildare Town) to Junction 14 (Monasterevin). |
Divert from Junction 13 using the off slip westbound. At the roundabout take the third exit onto the R415, passing straight through the next two roundabouts. At the T-junction, turn left onto the R445. Continue for a number of kilometres before turning left at the T-junction sign posted for the M7. Proceed onto the second roundabout, taking the second exit to rejoin the M7 westbound. |

M7 eastbound from Junction 14 (Monasterevin) to Junction 13 (Kildare Town). |
Divert from Junction 14 using the off slip eastbound. At the roundabout take the first exit and proceed to the T-junction, then turning right onto the R445. Continue to Kildare Town and on to the T-junction sign posted for the M7 and the R415. Turn right onto the R415. Take the second exit from the roundabout to rejoin the M7. Proceed onto the second roundabout, taking the first exit to rejoin the M7 eastbound. |

M7 westbound from Junction 14 (Monasterevin) to Junction 15 (Mountmellick). |
Divert from Junction 14 using the off slip westbound. At the roundabout take the third exit before passing straight through the next roundabout. At the T-junction take a left turn onto the R445, continuing on the route through Monasterevin and onto the Gandon Roundabout. Take the first exit from the roundabout, sign posted for the M7 before passing through the next roundabout. At the following roundabout take the second exit to rejoin the M7 westbound. |
Thursday, 26 October 2023 to Friday, 27 October 2023 and Friday, 10 November 2023. |

Closures to commence at 19:30hrs each day and re-open at 05:00hrs. |

Diversionary routes will be clearly signposted, as agreed with the Council and An Garda Síochána. Emergency access and restricted local access will be maintained.
