The Kildare Observer (1880-1935) is freely available here

Irish Newspaper Archive including the Radical Newspaper Archive, is freely available in all Co. Kildare  branch libraries and in Kildare County Archives and Local Studies Service, Harbour View, Naas. It includes a range of national and regional newspapers, including The Kildare Nationalist (formerly Nationalist & Leinster Times), The Leinster Express, The Irish Independent, The Freeman's Journal and The Irish Press. The Leinster Leader has been digitised from 1880-1929. This Radical Newspaper Archives includes a wide range of specialist papers including nationalist, republican, labour and suffragette publications.

Irish Times Digital Archive including all issues of the newspaper from its foundation in 1859 to the present is accessible on the public PCs in all branch libraries in Kildare Library Service. It is also available to consult in Kildare County Archives and Local Studies, Harbour View, Naas.

British Newspaper Archive is freely available in Kildare County Archives and Local Studies, Harbour View, Naas by prior appointment. It includes a large selection of Irish, English, Welsh and Scottish newspapers, and The Leinster Leader from 1882-1959; 1980-2002 with some small gaps.
