Kildare County Council, on behalf of Coffey, gives notice in accordance with Section 75 of the Roads Act, 1993 and the Roads Regulations, 1994 that it intends to have intermittent closure on the following road on Monday, 9 November 2026 to Saturday, 30 January 2027 (Road will reopen over Christmas 23 December to 04 January 2027) to facilitate works on behalf of Uisce Éireann for the Enfield Water Supply Scheme.

Alternative Routes: Southbound on L1007 Continue on the L1007 past the L5028-1 junction for 1.1 km. Turn left onto the L5029 and continue for 2.3 km. Turn left onto the L5030 and continue for 2.8 km. Turn left onto the L5031 and continue for 1.1 km. Rejoin the route at the L5028 junction, where the diversion ends. Westbound on L5028 At the closure point, turn left onto the L5031 and continue for 1.1 km. Turn right onto the L5030 and continue for 2.8 km. Turn right onto the L5029 and continue for 2.3 km. Turn right onto the L1007 and continue for 1.1 km. Turn right onto the L5028, where the diversion ends. |

Diversionary routes will be clearly signposted, as agreed with the Council and An Garda Síochána. Emergency access and restricted local access will be maintained.
