Kildare County Council is committed to working with property owners to reactivate long term vacant homes and unused properties for sustainable productive use as social or private housing. Kildare County Council want to raise awareness around the issue of vacant homes and to seek the public’s help in addressing this matter.
If you notice a vacant home in your area, you can report it to your local authority using the online form on www.vacanthomes.ie.
The local authority will investigate and, if appropriate, work to bring the vacant home back into use.
