Kildare County Council Welcomes Applications to the Kildare Creative Ireland Bursary Award 2025
23rd January 2025: Kildare County Council is now accepting applications for the Kildare Creative Ireland Bursary Award 2025. This award supports projects and initiatives that enhance access to, engagement with, and enjoyment of culture and creativity within County Kildare. Bursary awards range from €3,000-€10,000 and are designed to support creative cultural projects and interdisciplinary collaborations across the arts, heritage, creative industries, climate action, wellbeing and more.
Applications are welcome from individual creative practitioners and artists, community groups or Small Medium Enterprises for activities taking place in 2025. Submissions can now be made through the online application form at Kildare County Council - Library & Arts.
The closing date for receipt of applications is 12pm Friday,7th March, 2025. Detailed eligibility criteria is available via the application form.
Creative Communities Information Sessions 2025
Kildare County Council will host a number of Creative Communities Information Sessions about the strategic priorities of the Creative Ireland programme in Kildare and related funding opportunities. These sessions will be of particular interest to artists, community groups, youth groups, or Small Medium Enterprises who intend to apply for the Kildare Creative Ireland Bursary Award in 2025.
These sessions will take place in the following locations:
- Maynooth Community Library – Saturday 25th January, 10:30am
- Celbridge Community Library – Tuesday 28th January, 7pm
- Kildare Town Library – Wednesday 29th January, 10am
- Naas Library & Cultural Centre – Wednesday 29th January, 6:30pm
- Newbridge Community Library – Friday 31st January, 10:30am
- Athy Community Library – Tuesday 4th February, 6:30pm
