Ephemera

Kildare Local Studies collects ephemeral material of relevance to County Kildare which is valuable evidence of past events. Examples of the types of ephemera in the collection include:

  • Sports programmes including historic Kildare G.A.A. match programmes, racing programmes from Punchestown and the Irish Derby at the Curragh.
  • Election posters, flyers and promotional material relating to County Kildare.
  • Tourism marketing material, including brochures and programmes for local festivals held across the county.
  • Festival programmes, concert tickets, posters and flyers.
