Public Engagement

Community engagement is central to the work of the Kildare Local Community Safety Partnership (LCSP). The Partnership is committed to ensuring that the voices, experiences and perspectives of people living and working in County Kildare inform the identification of community safety priorities and the development of responses.

This section of the website will provide information on current and upcoming engagement opportunities, which may include:

  • public consultations,
  • surveys and questionnaires,
  • community workshops or town hall meetings, and
  • other engagement events or initiatives.

Engagement Opportunities

Details of engagement activities will be published on this page, including information on:

  • the purpose of the engagement,
  • how to participate,
  • relevant dates and deadlines, and
  • how feedback will be used to inform the work of the LCSP.

All engagement opportunities will be promoted with the aim of encouraging broad and inclusive participation, reflecting the diversity of communities across County Kildare.

Staying Informed

Members of the public, community groups and stakeholders are encouraged to check this page regularly for updates. Information may also be published through Kildare County Council communication channels, where appropriate.

Your Contribution

Feedback received through public engagement processes will be considered by the Partnership as part of its ongoing work, including the development of the Local Community Safety Plan and related initiatives.

The LCSP welcomes participation from individuals, groups and organisations with an interest in improving community safety and wellbeing in County Kildare.
