Kildare County Council Launches Local Pride in your Place Competition 2025
This annual competition acknowledges the efforts of Local Authority residents and residents’ associations to develop their communities, maintain individual gardens and public open spaces.
This important work, which is often done on a voluntary basis, creates a real sense of community engagement and local pride.
This year’s competition will see an addition of an overall Community / Youth group of the year award. This is a general award and not estate focused.
Nominations should be submitted online via the following links by Monday May 12th, 2025
Judging will take place from June 26th until July 4th with certificates awarded at a Community Awards event later in the year (timing and format to be confirmed). Queries can be directed to the Senior Community Worker Carmel Cashin at (087) 7212966 or ccashin@kildarecoco.ie.
Please note this year the Group/ Nominee must submit a maximum of 3 photos of the nominated estate/project to jmcpartlin@kildarecoco.ie. Please ensure these are clearly marked with the name of the estate on the email.
These photos will be used on the night as no photos will be taken during judging.
