Athy, County Kildare, is officially twinned with Grandvilliers, a town in northern France.

This partnership is to strengthen and develop common interests including education, economic development, arts and culture, tourism, sports and community.

Re-establishing the Athy Twinning Committee – Get Involved!

We are currently seeking enthusiastic members of the community to re-establish the Twinning Committee in Athy.  If you have an interest in international friendship, cultural exchange, and community events, we’d love to hear from you!

Joining the committee is a great way to:

• Build connections with the twin town, Grandvilliers, France
• Help organise cultural visits and local events
• Strengthen community spirit and international ties
