Leixlip, County Kildare, is officially twinned with two towns:

  • Bressuire, France, since 1996
  • Niles, Illinois, USA, since 2000

This partnership is to strengthen and develop common interests including education, economic development, arts and culture, tourism, sports and community.

Leixlip Twinning Committee manage and promote the relationship between the local community and its twin town.
