Twinning

Twinning can be defined as a coming together of two communities/regions seeking to strengthen or develop common interests including education, economic development, arts/culture, tourism, sports and community.  We have many strong twinning committees around the county who are twinned with towns and cities in America, England, Wales, France and Germany.

Twinning Grant Scheme

The grant scheme is open to all twinning groups engaged in twinning activities or projects. This funding is designed to provide financial assistance in the planning, organisation and roll-out of activities or projects of a twinning nature.
