As the title suggests, this body of paintings were developed by an intuitive activity of engagement with the materials of paint, characterised by expressive brushstrokes, an allowance for accidents and changes of mind and washes of evocative colours that reference the natural world and the language of contemporary painting.

Baby and Toddler Stay & Play Group

“A Brush with Colour” is a wonderfully colourful display of c.40 acrylic paintings, showcasing a selection of art works from members of the Maynooth Senior Citizens Thursday Morning Art Club. Organised by Maynooth Senior Citizens Committee, the Thursday art classes were led by Susan Durack with the help of members of the Committee.
